We wrote about how we felt in the hall when the Warriors visited us. Here is Gracie's poem expressing her feeling.
Warriors in the Hall
As they asked the question
I realised what I was in to win
I felt as though I could spin
My hand shot up as quick as a bull in a pack...
They missed me, but then they came back
He handed me a bag with a band, he said congrats,
I said Oh thanks
I took it off him, look what I've won
I could feel the tingle in my lungs
It was the best of school days.

When I read your poem Gracie, it took me back to the visit in the hall. You painted a great picture of what was happening and I thought your use of rhyme was very effective.
